Homemade Cole Slaw Recipe
Homemade Cole Slaw Recipe
Not all coleslaw is created equally. Some are dry, while others are mushy and tasteless. This is my coleslaw recipe. I think you will find it has just enough zing and texture to keep your taste buds dancing!
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
1 head finely shredded green cabbage
2 cups shredded carrots
½ cup granulated sugar
½ mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream
½ cup rice wine vinegar
¼ cup chopped flat leaf Italian parsley
1 tablespoon celery salt
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons fresh cracked black pepper
Directions:
Place all of the above ingredients in a large metal bowl and mix until everything is incorporated. Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Re-toss, and serve.
This coleslaw is great by itself, or on a sandwich!
