Enjoy this recipe for heart-healthy Tuna Tartare with family and friends!
Prep time 20 minutes
2 pounds sushi-grade tuna
¼ cup minced red onion
3 tablespoons minced shallots
3 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh grated ginger
Zest of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 lime
1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon Kosher or sea salt
1 bunch chopped cilantro
Place all of the ingredients in a glass bowl and mix thoroughly.
Let tuna mixture sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
